Digital Identity Kudos to Canada

Good to see some recognition of the ongoing Canadian government contributions to progress with Digital identity.

Over on Bruce Schneier’s blog he has some links to the Canadian privacy commissioner’s guidelines for identification and authentication and Industry Canada reference on authentication.

On Kim Cameron’s blog Ontario’s privacy commissioner Anne Cavoukian continues to keep privacy considerations in focus with some builds on the Microsoft Laws of Identity. He also has another blog entry on Anne’s privacy speech.

The BC provincial government gets some positive feedback at Digital ID World and from Canadian company SXIP in September for the identity proofing they do as part of the BCeID initiative.
